Post War Career

Served with Army Newspapers and was a founder of the "soldier" magazine. He was taken prisoner at Gazala on 1st June 1942 and escaped from Bologna Camp in 1943. With two companions, he suffered great hardship and was re-captured on 1st May 1944, just three weeks before the 8th Army liberated the area in which he was hiding.

He returned to Oxford and gained his degree. He then went into publishing and, in 1948, into advertising. His published works include :- How to win the Business Battle (1964), How to Get the Better of Business (1967) and Advertising for the Advertiser (1969)
